BUILT BY ROPE TECHS, FOR ROPE TECHS

We built the tool
we needed on
the rope.

RopeDocs didn't come out of a software company. It came out of twenty years of wet forms, missing certifications, and paperwork done in the back of a truck.

Twenty-plus years on rope

More than two decades working in the industry. We've been on the ropes, managed crews, completed the paperwork, maintained the records, and dealt with the everyday realities of running a rope access and work-at-height company. That experience is what shaped RopeDocs.

The paperwork problem

We wanted a better way for crews to complete their safety documentation in the field, and for companies to keep those records organised and accessible, without creating more work in the process. When you're on rope, on a rooftop, in a lift, or somewhere without reliable service, you need tools that work with you, not against you.

So we built it for ourselves

We didn't set out to build another generic safety app. We wanted something that made sense for the way this industry actually works. Crews complete digital safety forms and collect signatures from their phones, with no connection. When they're back online, everything syncs and completed forms become PDF records ready to share.

Rope access to work at height

Rope access is where our story started, and it will always be a big part of who we are. But the same challenges exist across the wider work-at-height industry. Crews on rope, in lifts, on ladders, cleaning windows, maintaining buildings, roofing, or inspecting all share one thing: good documentation is part of the job.

As a rope access company, we created something that we would use ourselves so that paperwork wouldn't be the most frustrating part of the job.

WHAT THAT ACTUALLY CHANGED

Decisions you only make if you've done the job.

Works with no signal

There's no coverage on a swing stage forty floors up. Forms save on the device and sync when you're back in range, because the alternative is paper.

Warns before a ticket lapses

An expired certification stops a job and sends a technician home. RopeDocs tracks every expiry date and tells you before it matters, not after.

The client gets the PDF first

Completed forms become branded PDFs you can send from the app on the spot. The paperwork lands in your client's inbox before the crew begins work.

A DAY ON ROPE, WITH ROPEDOCS

Same job. Less paper.

06:40

Hazard assessment at the truck

The crew lead opens the form, picks the service type, ticks the hazards. RopeDocs suggests the controls. Everyone signs on the screen.

07:15

Forty floors up, no signal

Equipment inspection done on the roof. The phone has no coverage. The form doesn't care, it saves locally and waits.

15:50

Back in range

Everything syncs. The branded PDF lands in the client's inbox before the ropes are coiled. The office has the record without anyone typing it up.

THE CREW BEHIND IT

Built by people who run crews

Two decades on rope: window cleaning, building inspection, exterior maintenance, caulking, painting, pressure washing, and anchor and fall-protection work. The same trades RopeDocs is built for.

RopeDocs is what our own crews use every day. We're still the first customer.

WHERE IT'S GOING

Built with the people who use it.

Our mission is to take what we've learned from more than twenty years in the industry and make everyday safety documentation simpler for the crews and companies working at height. Technology should support the work in the field, not complicate it. As the industry grows, RopeDocs grows with it, by listening, learning, and building alongside the people doing the work.

See if it fits your crew.

Fill in one form you'd be doing anyway. That's usually enough to know.

Seven days. No credit card required.
