What each one does

One company subscription runs the account, and the administrator’s login works in the app as well as the web portal. Add a Field User for anyone else who completes forms on their own phone. Crew members who only get added to a form and sign it are Employees: records in your account, with no login and nothing extra to pay.

Field Users require an active company subscription. Add or remove them anytime as your crew changes.

Three kinds of user

Company administrator
Runs the account from the web portal: company details, employees, Field Users, records and the subscription. This login also works in the mobile app, so the administrator can complete forms on site.
Field User
A paid login for the mobile app. Add one when somebody else on the crew needs to complete documentation on their own phone.
Employee
A personnel record, not a login. Employees are added to forms, hold certifications and training dates, and sign the documentation for work they take part in. There is no charge for an employee record.

How much does RopeDocs cost?

A company subscription is $29.99 a month or $349.99 a year. Each Field User is $7.99 a month or $89.99 a year. All prices are in CAD. Work out your total on the pricing page.

Does every tech on the crew need a login?

No. Only the company administrator and any Field Users you add have logins. The administrator’s login works in the mobile app as well as the web portal, so a small company may not need a Field User at all. Add one when somebody else needs to complete forms on their own phone. Everyone else is an Employee: a record in your account who can be added to a form, hold certifications and sign, with no login and nothing extra to pay.

What's the difference between an Employee and a Field User?

An Employee stores worker information, certifications, and training records. A Field User is someone who logs into the app to complete forms.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. You can cancel your subscription according to your plan's terms.

What currency am I billed in?

All prices are listed and billed in Canadian dollars (CAD). Your card provider may convert the charge to your local currency based on their current exchange rate and applicable fees.

Do I need a credit card to start my free trial?

No. We've now made it even easier to try RopeDocs. You no longer need a credit card to start your 7-day free trial. Simply create your company account and enjoy full access to RopeDocs for 7 days. If you decide it's the right fit for your team, you can choose a subscription before your trial ends.
